How To Make E-SHRAM Card: The Government of India had started the e-Shramik Card Scheme for the protection and employment of the workers. The Ministry of Employment has created this e-labor portal for the welfare of the workers of the unorganized sector. Members of EPFO or ESIC cannot take advantage of this portal. Documents required for registration on e-Shram Portal?
According to the e-Shram website, to register on the e-SHRAM site, you need to have Aadhaar number, mobile number linked to Aadhaar and bank account number. For registration you must have Aadhaar number, active mobile number linked with Aadhaar, bank account details and you must be between 16-59 years of age.
What is UAN?
According to the tweet by the Ministry of Labour, UAN is a 12-digit unique number that is given to each worker after registration on the e-Labour portal. UAN number is a permanent number i.e. once assigned it will remain unchanged throughout life.
What is e labor card?
An e-Labour card will be issued to those workers after successfully registering on the e-Labour portal. On which there will be a 12 digit UAN number. Self-registered workers on e-Shram Portal will not need to apply separately for any other government social welfare program.

Online Registration Process for e-Labour Card
- Go to the official website of e-labor register.eshram.gov.in.
- Now click on the link of Register on E-Shram.
- Enter the mobile number and captcha code linked to Aadhaar in the self-registration page.
- Now click on the option “Send OTP”.
- Enter the OTP received on the mobile number. Now the registration form for e-labour will open in front of you.
- Tick the Preview Self-declaration option by entering personal, educational, address details and bank details etc.
- Now you will get your UAN card, which you can also download for future use after preview.
